For their first FILM REVIEW episode of 2022, Imo and James plug back into the infamous virtual hell-scape for Lana Wachowski’s uncanny sequel: The Matrix: Resurrections (2021), starring Keanu Reeves, Carrie Anne-Moss, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Priyanka Chopra, Jonathan Groff, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Neil Patrick Harris and Jada Pinkett Smith. 
After almost twenty years since its conclusion, do the critics think this fourth entry is as thrilling and provocative as the original trilogy or an unnecessary ‘restart’ of a franchise well past obsolescence? They have thoughts.
